Excellent breakfast. Spotless and comfortable rooms with great views of the river. Helpful and friendly staff. Convenient location near public transportation and a supermarket. Nice gesture for our baby.

The staff were very helpful, friendly and very accomodating - I contacted them by email to ask if they provided tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. They emailed me back to say they didn't but on arrival at the hotel they infomed us that they had put a kettle and cups in our room. The breakfast catered for everyone and was fantastic. Rooms are spotless as is the rest of the hotel. Very close to local U-Bahn station that will have you in the city centre in 10 minutes.

While we was there the weather abnormally hot for the time of year and on coming back in the evenings we found the room very warm so opened the windows. However in the mornings there was a lot of traffic passing by from 5.30 onwards so was woke up very early. That said we didn't mention this and I'm not sure if there is any provision for when the summer kicks in

I can strongly recommend this hotel to tenants who are really inerested in quiet and friendly atmosphere. The hotel isn't very big but the staff is really helpful and attentive. It's located quite close to the downtown and the biggest shopping mall of Vienna. The room was spacious with comfortable beds and was thoroughly tidied up every day. Breakfasts were fresh and delicoius. I can resume that the hotel was worth the money we paid for it

The value for money was great and the room was top-notch with a beautiful view of the Danube. The location of the hotel was convenient, close to the metro and a mall, and the staff treated us very well.

Rooms reasonably spacious, comfortable and very clean. Friendly staff.

Noise from corridor and other rooms early every morning was more disturbing than average, perhaps due to the hard floors. Not all breakfast staff spoke English, although they were friendly and attentive.

Nice breakfast buffet. Fast and reliable wifi. I liked the shower, which is not separated from the room, and the ample and free parking. Very quiet despite the busy Wagramer Straße.

No lift to the rooms floor; could be inconvenient if you have more luggage. Both of the U-Bahn stations nearby are a little further away than expected.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Vienna for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was located just outside the city center, but it was a perfect location for me as it was next to the river and the lake, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The staff at the hotel were extremely polite and helpful, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The room was comfortable and well-lit, and the bathroom was equally impressive. The breakfast offered by the hotel was delicious, and I appreciated the convenience of being just a short walk away from the subway station.

I like the service provided by the host. They are really kind and nice. All the decorations are delicate and it looks comfortable and warm. The host will be willing to answer of of your questions and give you the best experience here.

Free parking, big flat screen, new building, fresh, convenient location, easy to get to down town - 10 minutes by subway, 2 minutes walking distance to a good restaurant terrace along the shore of the Old Danube. I would still consider it for the next trip to Vienna

The staff were incredibly helpful and gave us all the info we needed to explore the city. The location was fantastic, just a short metro ride away from the center. There's even a food mart and McDonald's nearby for convenience. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The view from the room was jaw-dropping. The breakfast selection was excellent, with warm rolls and fresh options. The hotel had a cozy and cared-for feel with friendly staff. it was a mind-blowing experience.

The rooms at Strandhotel Alte Donau are absolutely stunning with beautiful views of the water. As a business traveler, waking up to such a serene sight really sets a positive tone for the day.

Personally, I prefer closed bathrooms rather than open ones. However, I understand that some people might enjoy the unique design and rain shower offered by the open bathroom concept.

The best asset is the personnel. Staff is very nice and helpful, always looking forward to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Rooms were ample, quite and very clean. There are two sections in the hotel. Rooms in the newer sections looked better than the older ones, which were still ok. Breakfast was fine. Fast and free wireless internet connection. Well connected to downtown and University by trams and subway. Nearby shopping center for a selection of restaurants. All together make a very nice package.

Beautiful boutique hotel with great breakfast

Stayed here for a city trip and really enjoyed it. The hotel is in a great location near the river, which makes for lovely walks. The breakfast in the hotel was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from and a beautiful garden to enjoy it in. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful.

That there was no air conditioning in the rooms, but the windows could be opened to let in fresh air. , there was no lift so you have to take the stairs, but the staff were happy to help with luggage.

Excellent location for UN visitors. Clean, quiet, enough space (double room). Breakfast had great variety which was a positive surprise.

The mattress was harder than what I am used to. Sound insulation from the corridor and other rooms was not the best, but not the worst either.
